Scanner “Splat”

A twisted carnival ride of many of Scanner’s influences, including glam, horror, punk, and more…

Scanner has been playing old school, roots, and punk inspired rock and roll since the 1970s. 

Scanner is: Joe Brady (Bass and Vocals), Junnie Fortney (Guitar), and Ray Hawkins (Drums)

Scanner was formed by Joe Brady and Junnie Fortney in the late 1970s. Scanner’s influences encompass a wide range of styles, including the pioneers of 50s rock and roll, 60s hard rock and surf, and 70s glam and punk. To date, Scanner has released the albums: "Exploding Heads in Harrisburg - Live Recordings From 1982", "One foot in the grave, and more pissed than ever", "Splat", "Under the Devil's Tail", and “In Your Head”.
